בעבר הלא מאוד רחוק, יפו היתה מלאה גני פרי מרהיבים. נדמה שתפוזים תמיד היו חלק מאיתנו, אבל אל לנו להתבלבל - המותג התעופף לו בעבור חופן מזומנים אל הספרדים שמגדלים את תפוזי יפו. כיום כבר אין פרדסים וגם קו הרקיע מוסתר וכל מה שנשאר זו התרפקות על ריח ההדרים, זכר לכך שפעם היו פה פרדסים
